How quickly will you deliver my skip?
In some cases we may be able to deliver a skip on the same day as your order, this is dependant on your location If this is not possible then your skip can be delivered on the next working day.
Where can the skips be placed?
Skips need to be placed on private property. If they are to be placed on a road a highway permit must be issued and so please contact us in advance. If you cannot place on private land, we can still help you by arranging for a wait and load service where by your waste can be loaded instantly while the lorry waits on site.
As the vehicles delivering to your house are very large, please ensure that there is sufficient access to the point where our skips need to be delivered. If you are unsure about access, please give us a call and we can provide you with the approximate dimensions of the lorry used to deliver the skip you require or check our skip section located above on the menu bar for approximate dimensions.
For more information on this please contact us.
How much can I put in the Skip?
You may fill the skip as high as the top of the sides of the skip. This is to ensure that the skip is safe for transportation on the public road.
What materials can go into a skip?
Our skips are for disposing of inert waste – wood, cardboard, old sofas or chairs. Basically, any non-hazardous waste materials can go into our skips, however we are licenced asbesdos handlers and so this can be collected however we must be notified. If you have are uncertain, please give our skip hire specialists a call on 01303 813329 to discuss it over the telephone.
